First Call

I start in name of the God, who would help me to pass the understanding that I have.

I am a Muslim, I do not like to tag myself different sects as Allah has told us not to follow any sect.

6: 159 As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.

Thus I believe in book that was sent to me through prophet Mohammad and follow what is within.

One of the major problem today is religion cannot compete with science, its like a fashion that most of the scientist are atheists another problem is created by creationist who don't understand simple thing, asking question doesn't solve the problem.

If they are asked how can you prove Earth is 6000 years old when there are so many fossils that could not have happen in past 6000 years and why would God create fossil of a being that he doesn't intend to keep, they would simply say, carbon dating methods are wrong.

Now for sure carbon dating has nothing to do with the question, If I don't believe in Earth being 6000 years old or 4.54 Billion years old, I just want to know how did you come up with this number. There is simply no answer, that is creationist, problem is if you are a religious person you follow the creationist camp, you dare not venture into evolutionist because you say "God didn't create the living beings" and the "almighty man" evolved from pathetic little chimp.

Thus a person who believes in God also believes in primitive ideas of creationist and has nothing to do with science, many Muslim scientist who believe in God have same opinion about Muslims and Quran. They simply say that Quran is a book of Hidaya (Guidance) and not science and surely its not.

So how do you believe in God, science says things have to be provable, if things aren't provable they are false. Like did Jesus died on cross and was raised from the dead? Can it be proven or should I only take word of others for this? It can't be proven anything that can't be proven is false, proof has to be repeatable, you can't simply say something like XYZ happened but that same thing can't be repeated and tested experimentally.

Some people believe that they can have out of body experience, maybe but it can't be proven, there is no test that you could do that could prove that someone really had out of body experience or not, maybe you just programmed your brain to believe in something silly or maybe it really happened but it can't be proven.

Similarly God, God can not be proven.

You could claim something like I had such and such experience but that is your personal experience, using that experience I can't prove God exists. People in old times had no idea how humans formed thus they just simply said, "God made humans". But because you don't have answer to something doesn't automatically proves that that thing is made by God, we have no clue about universe, you can't jump to conclusion that there is no explanation so only explanation is that God made it, end of story, all done, go home.

Yes we today have no idea how it was made, but lack of knowledge doesn't prove anything and it doesn't disprove anything either.

If science can't prove God, it can't disprove it either.

Thus there is no valid way to prove God using method of lack of information, it simply doesn't work, it doesn't prove anything.

In following post, I'll try my best to consolidate science with religion, I'm not talking about Islam, yes I'm a Muslim but that in no way make me against any religion, I'm for all religion, of which rules have to be followed.

But before I end I would like to explain something that before reading Quran we have to understand that many people have failed to understand. Quran is not a book that has to be taken literally all the time, Quran has laws and stories, laws are to be taken literally no deviation from it at all, while stories and examples are not to be taken literally at all.

This is made clear in 3:7

He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical.  But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking discord and searching for its hidden meanings but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord"; and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.
I believe the book is from our lord, whole of it, but I assume that I know meaning of few verses and that is what I will explain, without breaking this rule it will be very hard for me explain what I'm talking about.

Lets hope things work out fine and not run into a problem.

  1. "If science can't prove God, it can't disprove it either."

Oh but we can disprove the claims made for your god, when they contradict with established facts, thus showing your god is fictional.

"He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book:"

Except that we know that Muhammad was illiterate and didn't read the book sent by Allah. Instead Gabriel reads it out to Muhammad in his ear. It's actually a lie to say that Allah sent down the "the Book" when the Koran was assembled from scraps and memories from various people, and a scrap was even eaten by Aisha's pet goat and never seen again. A sad fate for a verse from Gabriel wasn't it?

If Allah was real, it would be trivial for Allah to give every person in the world their own copy of the Koran, as most people can read now, unlike Muhammad.

Because Allah hasn't done so, we know that the Koran is a human-made book, just like other human-made books, nothing divine or special about it.

  2. Whatever you are saying about goat eating scarps, that is from stories (hadith), I don't agree with any hadith I simply call it book of lies. I have no problem calling even Quran book of lies but I can't, there are many things I do not understand it in, but that goes under 3:7 (allegory I can't understand that, I'm not ready for it).

Now why is God so shy? Why isn't he visible to us, why doesn't he talk to us all?

This world is a test, everyone on this Earth has a gene and that he/she has got through his/her parents, most of the people in this world are totally dependant on those genes. If someone has angry genes, he would get angry, if other person has genes to steal he would steal, yet other person has genes to help others he would help.

Quran doesn't say believe in God and you're fine, you go to heaven, that isn't the message, it says you have to do good, help others, feed poor, help needy, give charity, don't save money either, spend (not overspend), invest or give it away in charity, etc.

These are instructs not only to Muslims but Jews had same but Christians say "Jesus died for our sin" so we could do what we like, that is their choice. Now people who are bad would have better success in this world that is normal, because God does not mess with the system of the world, this is what we see too, people are just getting worse and worse.

If you could see God and talk to him, it wouldn't be a test of you being good not knowing he exists or not or if you'll be held for your actions in the end, everyone will be good, everyone will keep the laws (follow the rules) and be extra nice to other even if they wouldn't succeed in this world.

Quran talks about 2 heavens and 1 hell.

    1. Heaven 1: Those who do good for God, even if they could do bad they do good, they aren't arrogant and they stay away from evil deeds even if they could commit it.

    2. Heaven 2: (second level) For those who are genetically bound, they only do what they are programmed to do, if they do good, it's because they have good genes, if they do bad, it's because they have bad genes. Someone might be an evil person but he is psychologically not stable but that isn't his personal fault, he isn't evil.

    3. Hell: This is for arrogant people, specially those who do bad for selfishness, they hurt others so they show their greatness, if they are given power they are evil to others. These people are simply evil not because they had bad genes but because they are arrogant, knowing their is God they still do evil things. Like many Muslim leaders who kill innocent people in bombing, evil Christian priests who take money from people to get rich and not help others who really need it.

If God was clearly visible to everyone, everyone will do their best to be in Heaven #1, so where is the test?
